These are some of my favorite creations. It's difficult to pick and chose from years of work. Every so often I come across work stuck off in a drawer or closet that I've forgotten I did! But this tiny selection makes me smile--and I hope you enjoy! (Click on each photo to see a larger version and then click your browser 'back' button to return to the album.) Top Row: Porcelain Doll heads: Eric, Dana, Nikki, Grace* (*Best of Division/Professional Porcelain/OCA '82) Middle Row: Helen, Pastel Portrait. Starlight, mixed media. Jimster, Pastel. Madonna, Oil, is based upon one of the most famous photographs ever to appear in National Geographic (70s). The photographer: Volkmar Wentzel. In the thirty years since its publication, the photo has been the inspiration for hundreds of pieces of derivative artwork worldwide, both commercial and fine art. My small painting (4"x6") is an interpretation done in the classic mode and one of my treasures. Bottom Row: Cloth Dolls: Sharice, Bianca, Snowbeary Angel, and the Oregon RagBabies (Alsea, ElgaRose, Milo, Dilley, Bly and Colton). The RagBabies are pattern prototypes and thousands of their patterns have been sold worldwide.
